Calligraphy everywhere

I love adding calligraphy and personalization to non traditional items. What started out with simply writing thankful on a pumpkin we got during our annual Halloween farm visit turned into shells and balloons and lots and lots more. It seems like with each new day my list grows. I hope this gives you some ideas for your own personalized calligraphy items and I’d certainly love to hear what you think!

One of my favorite signs I customize and sell.

All the little pumpkins pretty in a row. These little white pumpkins with the curliest tops ever are my most popular pumpkins for gifts and Thanksgiving place cards.

This was the largest sign I’ve ever designed and painted. It was longer than I am tall. I think it’s safe to say the garden is no longer a secret!

Personalized balloons are so much fun and add the most unique touch at birthdays or weddings, as these were.

My daughters’ first day back to regular school couldn’t be announced with just any sign. I love the way this turned out but they are standing on opposite sides of where they should be!

I love the infinite possibilities with personalized Christmas ornaments. What starts out a cute gift tag then easily decorates the tree and becomes a cherished memento for years to come.

I love the way this graduation cap turned out. It was decorated with butterflies after I applied the lettering.

Acrylic signs are so versatile.

This was a personalized painted terra cota pot for an alternative succulent craft evening.

Found rocks for a corporate dinner were used as place cards.

Pretty little personalized boxes that held very yummy truffles doubled as place cards.

Acrylic with a metallic gold wash applied behind makes for a striking table number.

Halloween gifts for the teachers turned out so cute!

Personalized tiles that did double duty as place cards and gifts for guests.

This was a fun project in one of my Intro to Modern Calligraphy classes. This was wrapping paper I used for Christmas gifts and I love the combination of big letters and monoline calligraphy in addition to the overall feel for this wrapping paper!

Personalized pumpkin that turned into the Thanksgiving centerpiece.

How fun are these signs! I used enormous leaves and wrote all sorts of things on them for a beach wedding.
